Well I'm back from Prague - which was amazing as usual.
Just found out I'm defo moving there after my GCSES
yay

back home soon at last!

SO the subject of this is called "My new ideas" this is because I've had so many for my GSCE unit 2 I couldn't decide.

My topic is on venetian masks. I'm particaually interested in the jester ones. (musical jester masks catch my eye the most) I was inspired by Italy so much I had to do a topic, and I was really into their culture and celebrations in Venice.
At the moment I have done alot of preperation work. I have made a mask and stuck that in my Sketch book and drew a mask on a2 peice of paper.
The materials used consisted of pastel,glitter and string.

Now for my final peice, I'm thinking of buying a canvas and sewing on this big peice of material I got last night from a bumch of flower's mum bought. It's really weird. It's like kinda purple and looks like a spidersweb but it's soooooooo cool!
Then I'm, gonna draw a musical venetain mask. Glitter, string and bows will be used. The best part is that i will sew on actual jester bells to the canvas.

Now this is where I need your help.
What artist shall I look at for this topic
Shall I get carried away and use recycled items and stitch it on to make a mask look like its coming out of the canvas?
And finally, how much do you reckon an A1 canvas will cost me?
